Unadell O. "Della" Coffey. 76, of Russell Springs, died Saturday, February 8, 2020 at the Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center. She was born July 22, 1943 in Pulaski County to the late Otis B. & Irene Owens Scales. She was a cook for the Russell County School System and was retired. She accepted the Lord as her savior and was a member of Clear Springs Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years. She was an active member of the Kentucky State Fair Board. She was a wife, mother, and grandmother deeply loved by her family and friends.
Survivors include: Husband: Jimmy Clay Coffey, Russell Springs; 3 children: Debra (Randy) Taylor, Russell Springs; Cammie (Gary) Welker, Russell Springs; Lance (Sherri) Coffey, Nancy, Ky; 3 grandchildren--2 great grandchildren; 1 sister: Tenna (Len) Peak, Somerset, Ky; 1 brother: Meredith (Retha) Scales
Funeral service for Unadell O. "Della" Coffey, will be 10 Am. Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Garry Wilson and Bro. Troy Coffey officiating.
Visitation will be 5-8 PM. Tuesday and 8-10 AM. on Wednesday all at the funeral home.
Interment in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens in Somerset.

Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.

Orders placed in:
January - May
Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.
June - December
Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
