Somerset - Steven Ray Wilson, 61, of Somerset, Kentucky passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026.

Steven was born on December 1, 1964 to Otis Coy & Eileen (Moore) Wilson in Somerset, Kentucky. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially caving, fishing, and working with his hands. He had a deep appreciation for antiques and furniture restoration, taking pride in bringing new life to old pieces. Steven dedicated many years working alongside his family as a butcher at Wilson's Slaughter House. A man of faith, he was of the Baptist belief and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

He is survived by his son, Cody Wilson & (Brittany Roberts); his daughter, Ashley Wilson & (Michael Chipman); his mother, Eileen Wilson; his girlfriend of 12 years, Michelle Daulton; his sisters, Terri Wilson, Pam Blincoe, Kathy Perdue, and Mary Foley; a sister-in-law, Debbie Wilson; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father; a daughter who passed in infancy, Tabetha Wilson; a brother, Paul Wilson; and a brother-in-law, Gary Perdue.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, March 30, 2026 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Butte officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until time for services.
