Pulaski County - Stanley Eugene DeCoursey, 78, passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at the Jean Waddle Care Center.

He was born in Franklin, IN on March 28, 1947, son of the late Howard and Mabel Ethel (Stevens) DeCoursey.

He was first a musician, and later a skilled woodworker and mechanic, known for his dedication and craftsmanship. He found great joy in spending time with his family, reading the Bible, and sharing the word of God with others. A devoted husband, loving father, and cherished Papaw, he leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and kindness that will be remembered by all who knew him. He was a veteran of the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife, Gladys (Baird) Mullins; children, Eugene Duane Mullins & (Dawn), Crystal & (Matt) Renner; grandchildren, Martha Mullins, Marty Mullins & (Rachel), Jordan DeCoursey, Haley Mullins, Jordan Mullins, Harlynn Renner, Jackson Renner, and Autum Bradley; and six great-grandchildren; and a host of loving neighbors and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Mabel Ethel (Stevens) DeCoursey; two sons, Ian DeCoursey and Marty Mullins; and a great-grandchild.

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Monday, July 7, 2025 at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home.

Military Honors will be conducted by American Legion Post #38 Honor Guard.

Burial will be in Malvin Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends after 12 PM Monday, July 7, 2025 until time for services.
