Roger Dale Brown Obituary

Roger Dale Brown, caring Husband, Father, Papa and Friend, passed from this life on Tuesday, October 13th 2020.

He was born in Jabez, KY to his parents, Arcilas "Bruz" and Alice Brown on June 12, 1945.

After serving his country in the Vietnam War, Roger met the love of his life, Chloie Brown, whom he was married to for 53 years.

Together they had two children, Amy and (Scott) Polston and Shawn and (Stacy) Brown.

Roger is survived by his brother, Roy and (Vicky) Brown. As well as three sisters, Vonnie and (Jimmy) Karabinas, Janice and (Jimmy) Polston, and Beulah Winchester. Roger is preceded in death by his brothers, Londo Brown, and Glen Brown, and one sister, Edith Wilson.

Roger enjoyed being a part of the Masonic Lodge 392.

Rogers's greatest pleasure was spending time with and spoiling his 5 grandchildren, Joshua Polston, Shelby Brown, Sadie Brown, Sophie Brown, and Cameryn Brown.

Roger was of the Baptist Faith and attended Calvary Separate Baptist Church.

Even though a failing heart took him away from this world, his loving heart left a beacon of light for all in the Jabez community.

Visitation for Roger Brown will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. CST at the Bernard Funeral Home, 367 Main St, Russell Springs, KY, with funeral to follow at 1:00 P.M. CST. with Bro. Jerry Ridge , Bro. Jimmy Polston and Bro. Mark Polston officiating. Burial to follow at Military Spring, Caves Springs Road, Jabez KY.
