Robert "Bobby" Vanhooser, age 74 of Monticello, Kentucky, peacefully entered eternal life on December 16, 2020.

Robert was born in Nancy, KY to Willie and Mae Vanhooser on December 18, 1945. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister Bernice Tarter; and sister Kathleen Fisher.

Robert is survived by his wife Wilma Vanhooser; daughter Dianna (Greg) Stratton; granddaughter, Breanna (Zach) Eskue; grandson Joshua Stratton; and great-granddaughter Madeline James Eskue; sister Virgie (Gene) Williams; brother Willie A. (Regina) Vanhooser; and several nieces and nephews.

Robert is a graduate of Nancy High School. After graduating, he served in the National Guard. He worked and lived in Ohio shortly, before settling in Lexington, KY where he would work for Sears for 20 years before starting his own heating and air business. Robert loved working, boating, riding his bike, taking long walks, and playing cards with his friends. He enjoyed summers on Lake Cumberland and winters in Ft. Myers, Florida. He will be remembered for his kindness, hardworking spirit, and wonderful sense of humor. He will be missed by his family and friends alike.

Funeral services will be 2:30 pm Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Harrodsburg Road officiated by Rev. Jeff McCarty. Visitation will be 12:30-2:30 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens.
