Maxine Hainey, 94, a resident of Fair Oaks Nursing Home, died Friday, March 10, 2017. She was born February 20, 1923 in Pulaski County to the late Luther & Mittie Young Ashbrook. She was a homemaker and a member of Salem United Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Hainey; 2 sons. Larry Hainey, Joseph Hainey; 3 brothers, Johnny, Edward, & Doyle Ashbrook; 1 sister, Ruth Gosser

Survivors

1 son: Harry (Sandy) Hainey, Nancy, Ky

2 daughters-in-law: Mary Ann Hainey, Greenwood, IN; Diane Hainey, Russell Springs

1 sister: Doris Roy, Whiteland, IN

1 sister-in-law: Christine Ashbrook, Somerset, Ky

5 grandchildren: Scott, Shelby, Angela, Doug, Donella

5 great grandchildren

Funeral service for Maxine Hainey will be 2 PM. Sunday, March 12, 2017 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Larold Gosser officiating.

Visitation after 12 PM. Sunday.

Interment in the Pine Grove Cemetery on Gosser Ridge.

Pallbearers: Kevin Jones, Scott Hainey, Doug Hainey, Jimmy Hare, David Gosser, Jerry Stogill
