Marie Kelley (Midge) Obituary
Cincinnati, OH - Marie Kelley, known as Midge to everyone in her life, passed peacefully in her sleep on July 2, 2026 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Ft. Thomas, KY.
Midge spent the majority of her life in Somerset, KY until her retirement when she moved to Amelia, Ohio to be closer to family. It was her joy to spend time with friends, her book club, and attending many events with her grandchildren.
Midge was a member of Mt. Washington Presbyterian Church in Mt. Washington Ohio, an avid supporter of the West Clermont and Archbishop Moeller Cross Country Teams, The Cincinnati Parks District, and loved nature.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Bannie (Weddle) and Luther Tibbals, and her sister, Carol (Tibbals) Troxell.
She leaves behind her brother, Bill (Joyce) Tibbals, her sister Jane (Ed) Ledford, her two daughters, Shannan Lentz (Bob) of Edwards, Colorado and Melissa Speed of Cincinnati, Ohio. Her most loved four grandchildren Gretchen and Patrick Lentz of Edwards, Colorado, Ellie Summer Speed of Lexington, KY and Owen Speed of Cincinnati, Ohio, as well as many loved nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
A graveside service will be held on August 8, 2026 at 11:00 am at Somerset Cemetery in Somerset, KY. Attendees are encouraged to write a small joyous memory of Midge to be placed in a memory jar along with her ashes for burial.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on 2026-08-08 at Somerset Cemetery, 511 W Columbia St.
