Somerset, KY - Kent Snyder, 56, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away of natural causes on August 15, 2025, at his apartment in Somerset. He was born on July 6, 1969, at the old Somerset hospital and spent most of his life in Science Hill before settling in Somerset in recent years.

Kent is preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Velma and George Spillman; paternal grandparents, Mae and Dave Snyder; his stepmother, Mary Coleman; his aunts and uncles, Willis Snyder, Dee Snyder, Jack Snyder, Dorothy Spears, and Mike Spillman.

He is survived by his daughter, Kelsey Snyder, and her fiancé, Tyler Lewis; his mother and stepfather, Shirley and Jesse Turner; his father, Ralph Snyder; his brother, Conley Snyder; his step siblings, Angie Gillispie and Shane Turner; his niece, Billie Snyder; his aunts, Fran Spillman, Patricia Spillman, and Arlee Dagley; and his uncle, Bill Snyder. He also leaves behind countless close friends, neighbors, and cousins who will carry his memory forward.

A small gathering for close family and friends will be held from 5-7 PM on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at Pulaski Funeral Home to honor and celebrate his life.
