John Harper Obituary

Stanford - John Everett Harper, 83, of Stanford, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at his residence.

He was born on February 20, 1942 to the late Sam & Iva (Floyd) Harper in Pulaski County, Kentucky. John spent his life working as a farmer.

He is survived by his son, Jeffery Harper; his daughter, Sheila Hampton; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Dorothy and Sue.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his first wife, Lodena New; his second wife, Shirley Poore; and his brother, Robert Dorman Floyd.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, July 7, 2025 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. David Bullock officiating.

Burial will be at Pulaski Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:00AM until time for services.
