Somerset - James Herbert Vaughn, age 65 of Greenwood, IN, passed away on Friday, June 27, 2025 at Aspen Trace, Greenwood, IN. James was born on July 1, 1948 at Somerset, KY, the son of James Vaughn and Zena Simpson Vaughn. He was a singer/songwriter.
Survivors include his wife, Yen Minh Vaughn of Greenwood; one daughter, Carla Starnes of Greenwood; two grandchildren; extended family members and friends who are saddened by his passing.
In addition to his parents, James and Zena Vaughn, James was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 from 9:00 am - 11:00 am at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 am at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Harper officiating. Burial will be at the Catron Cemetery, Somerset, KY.
