Somerset - Evelyn Goins Campbell, age 90 of Somerset passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at Somerset Nursing and Rehabilitation. Evelyn was born on September 18, 1935 at Manchester, KY, the daughter of Walter Goins, Sr. and Vina Samples Goins. She was a faithful member at McKinny Baptist Church. Evelyn was married to Eugene "Archie" Campbell on January 14, 1956 and they shared 55 years of marriage prior to his passing on July 10, 2011. She worked as a machine operator at Tecumseh Products and she embraced her role as homemaker, wife and mother. She is also known as "Miss Evelyn" from Granny's Learn and Grow. Evelyn enjoyed quilting, crocheting and gardening.

Survivors include two sons, Phillip Campbell of Somerset and Kenny Roberts (Sharon) of Crab Orchard; one daughter, Judy Martin (Wayne) of Somerset; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; one sister, Myrtle Liford of Somerset; several nieces and nephews and extended family members, church family and neighbors who are saddened by her passing.

In addition to her parents, Walter and Vina Goins; and her husband, Archie Campbell; Evelyn was preceded in death by her son, Dennis Campbell; one grandson, Steven Wayne Martin; one brother Walter Goins, Jr; and six sisters, Grace Dezarn, Freda Centers, Virginia Jones, Ruth Centers, Norma Goins and Lola Webb.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2025 from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow on Thursday, October 9th at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Clark officiating. Burial will be at the Tanner Cemetery.
