Somerset - Bishop Edwin "Ed" Inabnitt age 77 of Somerset, KY passed away on Friday, July 10, 2026 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. Ed was born on April 14, 1949 at Somerset, KY, the son of Bishop Inabnitt and Telvis Eaton Inabnitt. He was a graduate of Shopville High School and he was a retired employee of Crane Plumbing. He married Rhonda Shearer and they shared almost 40 years of marriage. Ed enjoyed collecting antiques and vintage items and intricately arranging them in his garage, muscle cars, tending to and grooming his lawn with his wife, spending time with his kids and grandkids (he was very proud of them), he enjoyed classic rock music, and he still loved vintage rock t-shirts and cut off jeans! Ed was an avid UK Basketball fan and he will forever be remembered for telling, retelling and retelling funny stories with his family and belly laughing.

Survivors include his wife, Rhonda Elaine Inabnitt; his son, Dustin Clark Inabnitt (Ashley) of Lexington, KY; his daughter, Ginger Lachelle An Inabnitt Wise (Bryan) of Richmond, MI; four granddaughters, Emma Dayne Wise Esders (Steven), Sophia Clark Wise and Lola Claire Wise, all of Michigan, and Harper Elin Clark Inabnitt of Lexington; one great granddaughter, Emelia Kate Esders; his brother, Jeff Inabnitt of Somerset; one sister, Betty Inabnitt Skidmore of Somerset; his sister in law, Sharon Crose Mueller (Jeff) of MO; and his niece, Kristen Crose (Darrell) of MO; extended family members, neighbors and friends who are deeply saddened by his passing.

In addition to his parents, Bishop and Telvis Inabnitt; Ed was preceded in death by his mother and father in law, Howard and Eula Dean Bertram; sisters, Tammy Jill Inabnitt Shipp and Carole Ann Inabnitt Loveless; his sister in law, Barbara Bullock Inabnitt; and his brother in law, Fred Skidmore.

Honoring his wishes, the family has chosen private family visitation at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home and a Graveside Service at Elk Spring Cemetery, Monticello, KY on Thursday, July 16, 2026.
