Harley's Story

Ms. Harley B. Hargis, age 78, of Burnside, Kentucky passed from this life on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at her residence.
 She was born in Harriman, Tennessee on December 15, 1938, daughter of the late John H. and Della Irene Clines Lyles.
 Harley was a retired Custodian for the Pulaski Co. School System after several years of dedicated employment. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, reading, gardening and tending to her flowers. Harley was of the Baptist faith and loved her cat "Missy".
  She is survived by her daughters; Angela and (Jim) Cromer of Burnside, and Elizabeth and (Tom) Stephens of St Petersburg, Florida, brother; John Vernon and (Rebecca) Lyles of Jasper Bend, sisters; Mary Ethel Middleton of Hammonds Camp, and Brenda Bleakmore of Louisville, grandchildren; Misha Cromer, Sasha Cromer, Joann Rosamond and Carolina Rosamond, great-grandchildren; Camden Ray Cromer and Ayva Marie Rosamond.
 She was preceded in death by her parents, brother; Ernie Clines, sister; Francis Moeller and a son-in law; Donald Bleakmore.
 Visitation will be on Sunday, June 10, 2017 after 6:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
 Funeral Services will be on Monday, June 12, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Grant Hardwick officiating. 
Burial will follow in Southern Oaks Cemetery.
 In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Harley B. Hargis Memorial Fund.
 Southern Oaks Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
