Mrs. Deen Gregg, age 81, of Somerset, passed from this life on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at the Cumberland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Somerset, Kentucky. She is the widow of the late John Gregg.
Deen was born on September 28, 1935 in Knoxville, Tennessee to the late William Boling and Beulah Lewellyn. She was a retired Press Operator at the old Palm Beach Factory in Somerset. Deen enjoyed sewing, needle work, puzzle books, word search books and spending time with her family. She was of the Baptist Faith.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; John Gregg and a grandson; Adam Greer.
She is survived by her sons; Mike (Marcia) Gregg of Indianapolis, Indiana and Tim (Linda) Gregg of Knoxville, Tennessee. Two daughters; Karen Gregg of Ferguson, Kentucky and Wendy (Terry) Crabtree of Monticello, Kentucky, her sisters; Delores Seals, Mary (Bob) Ramsey all of Knoxville, Tennessee and Betty Crawford of Kingston, Tennessee. Nine grandchildren Michael, Steven, Jonathan, Deena, Aaron, Heather, Timmy, Josh and Caden. Eleven great-grandchildren; Brandyce, JJ, John, Jayden, Will, Henry, Andrew, Gaven, Lauren, Brantley, and Keaton. A host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be at 11:00 A. M. on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home
Funeral Services for Mrs. Deen Gregg will be at 4:00 P. M. on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 in the chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Harvey Atkinson officiating
Interment will be in the Southern Oaks Cemetery
