Sue  Daulton


Janet "Sue" Daulton, age 75, of Nancy, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2019, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
Sue was born on December 3, 1943, in Science Hill, daughter of the late Edgar "Lit" and Lona M. McClendon Keeney. She married Billy C. Daulton, in Nancy, on March 10, 1961. Sue worked for many years at Wal-Mart, in Somerset. She was a member of White Oak Baptist Church. Sue loved conversation; she never met a stranger. She loved music of all kinds and enjoyed spending time with her husband and grandson.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Billy C.; her grandson, William Daniel Daulton; her sister, Hannah Light; her sisters-in-law, Ruby Keeney, Faustine Keeney and Carol Keeney; and her daughter-in-law, Janice Smith. Sue leaves behind many special nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Preceding Sue in death are her parents, Edgar "Lit" and Lona M. McClendon Keeney; her sons, Billy Wayne Daulton and Stephen E. Daulton; and her siblings, Junior Keeney, Richard Keeney, Linda Bishop (and Marvin), Glen Keeney, Claris Vaught (and Wayne), Ruby Wilhite (and Rob), Georgie Wilson (and Eventis) and Jo Grimes (and Larry); and her brother-in-law, Robert Light.
Visitation will be after 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 10, 2019, at the Nancy Funeral Home chapel.
A Celebration of the Life of Janet "Sue" Daulton will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2019, at 2:00 p.m., at White Oak Baptist Church, in Nancy, with Bro. Larry Butte officiating. Interment will be in the White Oak Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 11, after 11:00 a.m., at White Oak Baptist Church, until time for services.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to White Oak Baptist Church or to the Gideons International for Bible placement.
