Lillie Ann Burns Silvers, age 80, of Somerset, passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was born in Somerset on February 12, 1937 to the late Albert Eugene Burns and Mae Parker Shadoan. She was united in marriage on July 1, 1957 to Joe Dell Silvers.
Lillie was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed quilting, embroidery and crocheting.
Lillie is survived by her husband, Joe; one son, Michael Dell Silvers; one daughter, Patricia Ann Stratmann (Shawn); grandchildren, Danielle Smith, Amber Hogue, Linsey Silvers, Miranda Silvers, Kailey Silvers and Lacey Silvers; step-grandchildren, Ashleigh Stratmann, Rebecca Durham (Ben) and Christopher Stratmann; and great-grandchildren, Cayden Hogue, Cody Hogue and Savannah Roberts.
Lillie was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Thomas Carl Burns (Nell) and James Robert Burns (Margaret); and sisters, Lucille Chitwood, Rosie Duncan and Thelma Bess.
Visitation for Lillie Silvers will be held from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at the Chapel of Somerset Undertaking Company and Crematory. A celebration honoring the life of Lillie Silvers will follow at 1:00 pm with Bro. David Muse and Dan Silvers officiating. Interment will be in the Quinton Cemetery, Bronston, KY.
Pallbearers will be Eric Roberts, Jimmy Silvers, Christopher Burge, Gary Turpin, Blake Gibson and Joe Duncan.
