Jack's Story

Mr. Jack Crawford, son of the late Richard Frank and Laura Ellen Davidson Crawford was born in Pulaski County, KY on October 9, 1929 and he departed this life at his residence in Somerset, KY on Friday, April 21, 2017 having attained the age of 87 years.
He was united in marriage to Doris Sue Hail Crawford, she preceded him in death. Other survivors include his brother-in-law; Lyle Niekirk, a sister-in-law, Edna M. Crawford; the following nephews and nieces; David (and Elizabeth) Neikirk of Somerset, KY, Charles Wayne (and Karen) Crawford of Lexington, KY, Joe Dale (and Ronda) Crawford, Arthur (and Kim) Crawford, Allen (and Karla) Crawford, and Alice (and Scott) Muse all of Somerset, KY, and the following great nephews and nieces, Tera (and Matt) Cook, Natalee Neikirk, Charlie and Jon-Michael Crawford, Ashley (and David) Horton, Kathryn (and Spencer) Claiborne, Sarah, Andrew (and Amy) Crawford, Ben (and Brittany) Crawford, Hunter, Winston, Matthew, and Riley Crawford, Laura (and Billy) Coomer, and Erin Muse (and Brandon Thurmond) and Chris Muse (and Danielle Cummins), Maddox and Bryant Cook, Clinton (and Shawna) Polston and seven great great nieces and nephews, Abbee, Emma, and Jordan Coomer, Cordell Thurmond, Emory and Eli Horton and Lillian Marie Polston.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Joe Crawford.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Haynes officiating. Burial will follow in the Somerset Cemetery.
The family of Mr. Jack Crawford will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home after 5:00 p.m. Monday, April 24, 2017.
In lieu of flowers the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Grace Baptist Church Building Fund, 340 Oak Leaf Lane, Somerset, KY 42503.
