Homer Withers

He was born on April 12, 1948 in Somerset, Kentucky, son of the late Irvin James and Lucy Lewis Withers.
Homer was a former Sales Rep for RC Cola and also served in the United States Army. He was a member of Parlor Grove Baptist Church and he enjoyed playing Rook with his friends, and playing golf.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and three sisters, Clyda Fields, Edna Barbour and Georgia Withers.
He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer (and Michael) Floyd of Science Hill; three brothers, Darrell Withers of Waynesburg, David Withers of Eubank and James (and Myrna) Withers of Dalton, Georgia; one sister, Mary Withers of Eubank and two grandchildren, Dylan Floyd and Connor Floyd, both of Science Hill. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 8, 2019 in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with funeral service to be held at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Bro. Ronnie Haste officiating.
Burial will be in Eubank Cemetery.
Full Military Honors will be provided by American Legion Post #38 Honor Guard.
