Dawnita Morrow, age 43, of Somerset passed from this life on Monday, September 4, 2017 in Somerset.
She was born April 15, 1974 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin daughter to Don E. Jackson and Burnita Ann Anderson Jackson. She was of the Baptist Faith and attended Davis Chapel Church in Somerset. After receiving an AAS Degree, she worked at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital for several years. Dawnita enjoyed baking deserts, good food, good company and working with youth, and was an inspiration to them. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.
Mrs. Morrow is preceded in death by her parents, Maternal Grandmother; Juanita Coffey, and her best friend; Angela Hines Mills.
Dawnita is survived by her husband; Ronnie Lynard Morrow, whom she married in McCreary County, Kentucky on April, 29, 2011, daughter; Drewcila Jackson of Lexington, step-son; Nyheim Williams of Charlotte, North Carolina brother; Percy Love of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, sisters; Etryce Jackson of Hammond, Illinois and Perchelle Love of Milwaukee, aunts; Bobbie Hill of Greenville, Texas, Terri L. Hardwick of Somerset, Gewndolyn (George) Anderson of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Shonette Meade of Milwaukee uncles; Kenneth (Katrina) Coffey of Somerset, Perry (Becky) Jackson of Lynnville, Indiana, Cornell (Cheri) Coffey of Somerset, Gregory Cowser of Detroit, Sylvester (Sandra) Jackson of Paduchah, a special great-aunt; Arneice Hollowell of Paduchah, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, September 8, 2017 at 6 o'clock p.m. in the chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 1 o'clock p.m. in the chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Mondell Hunter, Bro. Freddie Stephens, and Bro. Phillip Duncan officiating.
