Bruce's Story

Bruce Lee Bell, age 53 of Nancy, Ky., passed from this life on Monday, June 12, 2017 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, Jean Waddle Hospice Care Center after a brief illness.
He was born on July 27, 1963 in Somerset, Kentucky, son of the Dale and Betty Willhite Bell. He is the Husband of Victoria Minor Bell. Bruce worked as and licensed electrician, he enjoyed fishing, playing bluegrass music, building and working on things.  He was a kind and gentle man, a loving husband and father and was of the Baptist Church.
Bruce leaves behind to cherish his memories, his loving wife; Victoria Minor Bell, a son; Joshua Bell of Somerset, and daughter; Lorrie Beth Cavaungh (Bobby), of Berea, Kentucky, brother; Roger Bell of Florida and a sister; Linda and (Jerry) Huddleston of Burnside, Kentucky, along with three grandchildren; Annalee, Kylie, and Hunter as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 16, 2017 in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home, Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Ron Cathers officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Robert Feltner, Josh Bell, Mike Helton, Jay Edwards, Josh Manning, and Richard Roberts. Honorary pallbearers will be Harlis Minor, Red Dalton, Jerry Huddleston, and Shannon Sutton.
In lieu for flowers the family request that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Mr. Bruce Lee Bell.
