Bobby D. Whitaker age 72 of Somerset, Kentucky passed from this life Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
He was born December 9, 1946 to the late Edsel Whitaker and Delphene Harris Whitaker in Dahl, Kentucky.
Bobby was a member of Barnesburg Baptist Church, he enjoyed car racing, and like to play pool.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edsel Whitaker and Delphene Harris Whitaker.
He is survived by his loving sister, Alma (Harold) Harris of Somerset; his loving brothers, Billy (Linda) Whitaker of Somerset, Burnis (Jo Ann) Whitaker; loving nephews, Jim Harris, Tim Harris, and Tracy Whitaker; and loving niece, Teresa Heath (Shannon). He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of The Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of The Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bros. Harold Harris and Jim Harris officiating.
Pallbearers will be Tim Harris, Josh Harris, Andrew Harris, Holden Heath, G. Heath, and Jaxon Whitaker.
Burial will be in the Renfro Cemetery.
Southern Oaks Funeral Home are entrusted with the arrangements for Bobby D. Whitaker.
