Betty  Pittman


Betty Lee Pittman, age 78, of Nancy, KY, passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at her residence.
Betty was born on March 8, 1941 in Pulaski County to the late Marvin Gossett and Edria Mofield Gossett. She retired as a seamstress at Palm Beach. Betty was a faithful member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church. She loved going to church and spending time with her family. Betty was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She recently celebrated her 62nd Wedding Anniversary in May.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond Leon Pittman, whom she married in Somerset on May 4, 1957; her children, Larry (and Becky) Pittman of Somerset, Debora (and Eddie) Robinson of Science Hill, Jeffrey Pittman of Somerset and Roger (and Judy) Pittman of Nancy; one sister, Shirley Dick of Somerset; three grandchildren, Brandie Thompson, Jason Robinson and Brittany Pittman; and three great-grandchildren, Kelly Dugger, Brianna Dugger and Zack Coffman.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by one brother-in-law, Enos Dick.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.
Her funeral service will follow on Tuesday at 1:00pm at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Justin Blosser officiating. Burial will be at Sweet Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jason Robinson, Eddie Robinson, Jerry Roy, Ronnie Turner, Bruce Turner, Jacob Phelps, Josh Petrey, Adam Dixon and Brett Price.
The family requests expressions of sympathy be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland or the Gideon Bible Memorial Fund.
