Audie M. Price, Jr., 87, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2017 at his residence.
Audie was born on December 21, 1929, son of the late Audie Price, Sr. and Beatrice Price at Dabney, Kentucky. He was united in marriage to Helen Fitzgerald on August 14, 1954 in Rossville, GA.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Helen Fitzgerald Price, one daughter, Lesa Aker & (Mike), one grandson, Michael Aker & (Season), one step grandson, Brian Aker & (Melissa) and one step great-grandson, Tristan Aker.
Audie graduated from Eubank High School and the University of Kentucky. In 1950, Audie received the American Farmer's Degree (it is the highest recognition to Future Farmer's of America) in Kansas City. He entered the Air Force in January 1954 and served two years. He was a real estate broker and auctioneer for 40 years and a
farmer. Audie was a member of Union Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, James W. Price and one niece, Tracy Green.
A funeral service will be held at 12 Noon Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Ponder officiating.
Burial will be in McKinney Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 10 AM Wednesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
