Andy Carl Davidson, age 76, of Greenfield, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2017. He was born on January 15, 1941 in Egypt, KY as the son of George and Viola (Wicker) Davidson. He received two associates degrees from Ivy Tech Community College. Andy married Seung H. (Paek) on July 18, 1974 in Seoul, South Korea.
Andy proudly served in the U.S. Army and retired after 24 years as an E-7. He was stationed in South Korea, Vietnam, Germany, and The United States. He enjoyed RVing, fishing, working on cars and traveling. He adored his family and loved spending time with each one of them.
Andy is survived by his wife, Seung Davidson of Greenfield; son, Patrick (Jill) Davidson of Greenfield; daughters, Lisa (Michael) DeFilippo of Lexington, KY and Dawn (Sam) Sexton of Louisville, KY; siblings, Amos (Marsha) Davidson of Richmond, IN, Dayne (Dorothy) Davidson of Somerset, KY, Mallie (Fred) Hensley of Hamilton, OH, Shirlene (Bobby) McNight of London, KY, Donnie (Sharon) Davidson of Somerset, KY and Vonda Miracle of Hamilton, OH; eight grandchildren, Lauryn, Emily, Andrew, Claire, Landon, Maggie, Arabella and Mikey; brothers-in-law, Robert K. (Yonghui) Paek of McCordsville and Tae (Rose) Paek of Dublin, OH; nieces, Jenny Paek of McCordsville and Katherine Paek of Columbus, OH; and nephew, Martin Paek of New Paris, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Viola Davidson; sister, Bernice Belt; and brother-in-law, Don Belt.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2017, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will take place immediately following the visitation at 7:00 p.m. Deacon Wayne Davis will be officiating. A committal service will take place on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison, IN.
